FRV. Linus Rweikiza Kinyondo

FRV. Linus Rweikiza is a highly qualified and fully registered and licensed Valuer and Real Estate expert, bringing a wealth of academic and practical experience to Geo-Proptech Ltd. Holding an MSc in Real Estate from the University of Pretoria (South Africa) and an MSc in Economics and Finance for Development from the University of Bradford (UK), Linus possesses a strong foundation in both the theoretical and applied aspects of the real estate sector.

His extensive career spans over three decades, including significant tenures at prominent organizations such as the National Social Security Fund (NSSF – 10 years), Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC – 13 years), and the Central Bank of Tanzania. During these roles, he developed deep expertise in areas such as Real Estate Management, Property Valuation, Facilities Management, Real Estate Agency, Real Estate Marketing, Land Administration, and Project Management and Appraisal.

Linus has also demonstrated strong leadership within the industry, serving as President of the Tanzania Institution of Valuers and Estate Agents (TIVEA) from 2013 to 2018, which is now the Association of Real Estate Professionals of Tanzania (AREPTA). He has also held key positions such as Secretary of the Africa Real Estate Society (AfRES), East African Zone, and Chairman of the Ardhi University Convocation – Fundraising Committee.

His comprehensive understanding of the real estate market, combined with his valuation expertise and leadership experience, makes FRV. FRV. Andrew Peter Kato

Andrew is a highly accomplished management expert with over18 years of experience in administration, project management, and consultancy services in Tanzania. As the immediate former CEO of Ubungo Plaza Ltd and the current President of AREPTA, he has demonstrated a proven track record across various sectors, including water, real estate, and business. He is also a chairman of the technical Committee and a Board member of Valuers Registration Board of Tanzania.

A fully registered and licensed asset valuer, Andrew has worked with organizations such as the Ministry of Finance on Undertaking Situational Analysis and Developing Action Plan for the Government Asset Management Division (GAMD) towards adopting international asset management standards, KPMG on assessing asset management functions in Tanzania for the Ministry of Finance, and multiple Water Authorities to conduct asset valuation and management to improve WASH services.

Andrew has navigated through the Real Estate sector, specializing in market analysis and feasibility studies across Tanzania, the UAE, and South Africa. His expertise spans across residential, commercial and industrial properties, offering clients invaluable insights and strategic recommendations through his comprehensive understanding of market trends, financial modelling, and risk assessment. His consultancy work includes a sub-consultant role for the World Bank on developing operation and maintenance manuals for bus terminals and community markets in several Tanzanian cities.

Throughout his career, Andrew has successfully managed major properties such as NSSF Waterfront House, TIRDO Commercial and Residential Properties, Millennium Towers, Utalii House, PSSSF Towers, Rock City Mall and Ubungo Plaza Complex. He has provided consulting services in property management, tenant mix strategy, and property marketing analysis, among others. As a Fully Registered Valuer, he has consulted for various banks on mortgage valuations, including Standard Chartered Bank, Stanbic Bank, CRDB Bank, Ecobank, and NMB Bank, just to mention a few.

Dr. Julian Ijumulana

Dr. Julian Ijumulana is a highly accomplished professional with a Ph.D. in spatial data analysis and modeling using artificial intelligence and machine learning methods from KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden). He also holds an M.Sc. in Geo-Information Science (GIS) and Earth Observation from Twente University (Netherlands) and a B.Sc. in Geomatics from the University of Dar es Salaam.

Dr. Ijumulana possesses extensive experience in teaching, research, and consultancy services, particularly in areas such as Cadastral/Legal Surveys, Topographical Surveys, Engineering Surveys, GPS/GNSS Surveying, Remote Sensing, Photogrammetry, and GIS application development. He has contributed significantly to the University of Dar es Salaam, imparting his knowledge and expertise to future professionals.

His consultancy work focuses on spatial data collection, spatial database development, and advanced spatial data analysis, utilizing a wide range of GIS and engineering software, including ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth Pro, and Google Earth Engine.

Dr. Anthony Kigombola

Dr. Kigombola is a highly qualified and accomplished professional, holding a Ph.D. in Computer Systems Engineering, an MSc in Telecommunication Engineering, and a BSc in Computer Engineering. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and an ERB Registered ICT Professional (ICTC).

With a strong academic foundation, Dr. Kigombola has served as a lecturer, software engineer, and researcher at the University of Dar es Salaam, contributing to the advancement of computer systems and software development.

As a Senior Software Engineer and System Developer, Dr. Kigombola has a proven track record of delivering complex and impactful projects. His consulting experience includes:

MS. Glades Stanley Mugoa

MS. Glades Stanley is a highly experienced GIS professional with an MSc in GIS and over 14 years of expertise in the field. Hes comprehensive skill set encompasses Geographic Information System (GIS), Data Visualization, Data Analytics, Remote Sensing, Visual Impact Assessment, Cartography, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Web-Mapping, Research Undertaking, Project Management, Needs Assessment, GIS Database Management, Training, and Capacity Building.

Ms. Mugoa has held significant roles in various prominent organizations, demonstrating her ability to apply geospatial technologies effectively. Her professional experience includes:

CPA Gosebert Kamugisha

CPA Gosebert Kamugisha is a highly experienced and accomplished Hotel Financial Controller, bringing a wealth of expertise to Geo-Proptech Ltd. With a proven track record spanning numerous prestigious hospitality brands, Gosebert specializes in optimizing financial performance and ensuring robust financial management within the hotel industry.

His extensive career includes key financial leadership roles at renowned establishments such as Onomo Hotel, IBIS Styles Hotel, Southern Sun Hotel, and Novotel Lagos Nigeria. Additionally, Gosebert has demonstrated his versatility and financial acumen in related sectors, including his tenure at LSG Sky Chefs (Inflight Catering).

Gosebert’s experience extends to overseeing the financial operations of six Accor Hotels under Tanzania Hotels Investments, showcasing his ability to manage complex portfolios and deliver exceptional results. He has also contributed significantly to the financial success of iconic Tanzanian properties like Lake Manyara Hotel and Lobo Wildlife Lodge.

Mr. Leopold Baitwa Kabendera

Mr. Leopold Baitwa is a highly respected and seasoned professional with over 40 years of accomplished experience in the travel and tourism industry. A resident of Tanzania’s major cities, he possesses an intimate understanding of the region’s hospitality and tourism superstructure investments.

His extensive career spans private business operations, consulting, and executive-level positions, both locally, regionally, and internationally. Mr. Kabendera’s academic credentials include prestigious institutions such as the Salzburg Hotel School (Austria), the Hotel and Catering Institute (Cyprus), and the School Hotel National (Switzerland), where he specialized in hospitality management and travel and tourism business.

With a strong foundation built through living and working in Europe and Africa, Mr. Kabendera’s core competencies lie in Hospitality Operations and Sales & Marketing, which he considers pivotal for sustainable industry development. He excels in guiding hospitality investment, particularly start-up projects, from market research and site selection to market penetration strategies and positioning, ensuring timely return on investment.

Notably, he served as Director of Sales & Marketing for the ACCOR GROUP, managing Mount Meru Hotels and TAHI Lodges from 1993 to 2004, where he drove global market development, human insights, integrated marketing experience (IMX), and marketing operations.

Furthermore, Mr. Kabendera served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO) from 2006 to 2010, demonstrating his ability to address complex industry challenges with innovative approaches.
